Traffic Collision Investigation 2104-4390

On 4/19/21 at 0143 hours, CCPD Officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle collision at E. Palm Canyon and Date Palm Drive. Upon arrival officers discovered a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta collided into the southeast traffic signal pole, causing significant damage to the vehicle. CCFD Paramedics were dispatched to the collision and transported the male driver who was ejected from the vehicle to Desert Regional Hospital.

Press Release 2010C-8227 – Fatal Traffic Collision

On October 29, 2020, at approximately 1954 hours, Cathedral City Police Department (CCPD) officers were dispatched to the area of Crossley Road and Sarah Street regarding a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic collision. Upon arrival, Officers located an adult female in the street with major injuries. The Cathedral City Fire Department responded to the scene and the female pedestrian succumbed to her injuries.

Press Release – Nov 1 Collisions

On Nov 1, 2019 at approximately 0552 hrs., Cathedral City Police (CCPD) and the Cathedral City Fire Dept. responded to the area of 30th / Landau for a vehicle versus pedestrian collision.  Officers discovered a 65-year old male suffering from injuries.  The male pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk when he was struck by a vehicle that left the roadway.  The driver of the vehicle returned to the roadway and drove away without stopping.  The male pedestrian suffered major injuries to his lower legs and was treated at the scene by Cathedral City Fire Paramedics and transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.
