Summary:
On October 29, 2020, at approximately 1954 hours, Cathedral City Police Department (CCPD) officers were dispatched to the area of Crossley Road and Sarah Street regarding a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic collision. Upon arrival, Officers located an adult female in the street with major injuries. The Cathedral City Fire Department responded to the scene and the female pedestrian succumbed to her injuries. The pedestrian has been identified as a 40-year-old female from Cathedral City. Her identity is not being released at this time.
The Cathedral City Police Department Traffic Team is investigating the collision and it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved. No other information is available at this time.
