Fatal Traffic Collision Vehicle vs Pedestrian (2312C-1464)
On December 10, 2023, at approximately 10:16 PM, Cathedral City Police officers responded to a traffic collision involving a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle in the roadway of Date Palm Drive, south of Victoria Road. Officers arrived and found the male pedestrian deceased.

On May 14, 2023, at approximately 0607 hours, Cathedral City Fire responded to a call of a male on the ground with head injuries. When Cathedral City Fire arrived, the male was in full arrest, and Paramedics noticed injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. Cathedral City Police responded and, upon arriving, found evidence of a hit-and-run traffic crash. Paramedics could not revive the male, who succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
