Synopsis of Incident:
On Monday 04/01/2024 hours, Cathedral City Police Officers were dispatched to the Date Palm Country Club (36200 Date Palm Drive) reference an unidentified male found floating in the pond of the golf course. CCFD responded and extracted the subject from the water. They determined he was deceased, and CCPD Detectives along with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Coroner responded to the scene. There were no signs of foul play or indications the subject had been assaulted. The subject was identified as a resident and awaiting the next of kin notification.
